  1. As a long time cyclist I often have people asking about buying bikes. It can be very confusing if you don’t have much experience with bikes, and sometimes even for those who do. If you are buying a bike for the first time, or thinking of upgrading from an old bike, hopefully this information will help you out.

  2. Electrobike’s Pi is the gateway from an automobile dependent world to a brighter, cleaner, less polluted world with lower CO 2 and a lot more smiles. Pi is also the first electric bicycle to blend genuine comfort with true ergonomic compatibility as the patent-pending radius provides a range of riding positions between conventional and semi-recumbent. Pi offers 750 Watts of power and, coupled to a contiinuously variable transmission, is more than sufficient to make the switch from your automobile possible...and change the world we live in for the better. Pi is capable of 30 miles per charge at 20 mph (60 miles per charge with optional companion battery), recharges in 3 hours from a standard household outlet and will climb 99% of the world's steepest streets—starting in Electrobike's home base, San Francisco.
