Privacy Policy At Notebookz.com Inc. ("Notebookz.com"), we are committed to protecting your privacy. We love to surf around the web just as much as you, and don't particularly appreciate it when sites take advantage of our love to make a quick dollar. We've tried to follow an approach that makes sure your data is used solely to enhance your experience and have set up the following policies to ensure this. When you sign-up for an account at www.iLeonardo.com, we ask you for your email address, account name, and password. You also have the option to enter your first and last name. This information is used primarily to maintain your notebook collections and to allow you to confirm shared notebooks. During our initial stages we may also use your email address to contact you, from time to time, about your experience with our services and how it can be improved. We will not sell or disclose your email address, account name, or password to any outside parties. Your account name and email address are not public and are not available to other users. When you interact with notebooks on our website we keep track of the original creator of a notebook, as well as when a notebook was created. We also maintain information about the pages you add to your notebook, such as the time it was created. Currently, once you've created or modified a notebook this change is publicly visible to other users. This means the notebook will appear in search results whenever one of its constituent pages is returned in response to a query. Additionally other users may modify notebooks you created. Private notebook functionality will be added in the future allowing users to prevent their notebooks from returning in search results or being modifiable by other users. When you share a notebook with another user we store a record of this association. We keep this information to provide a measure of distance between users and may in the future use this to personalize your search results. Please note that, once you've logged on to our servers, we use cookies keep track of your application states and log in status. Cookies are not used for tracking purposes. Cookies are small files that take up minimal room on your computer and cannot, by itself, damage your computer's files. Cookies work by assigning a number to a user that has no meaning outside of the assigning web site, in this case, www.iLeonardo.com.
